Evaluations Include

1

Testing and Interview

Test administrations are non-invasive procedures and span a wide range of areas, requiring multiple hours. Testing can be completed in a single appointment or across multiple visits. Some test administrations can be completed via telehealth, but are best completed face-to-face with your evaluating clinician. Interviews allow for the gathering of detailed background information and help to contextualize the metric data gathered from testing.

2

Scoring, Interpretation, and Report Writing

Once testing and interviews are completed, your provider carefully reviews, scores, and interprets the data. A working portrait of the client is created through the use of multiple types of information (cognitive, personality, mental health symptoms, etc.). A report includes scores, explanations, and summaries. Diagnostic determinations are made and several individualized recommendations are provided, based on the findings.

3

Debriefing/Feedback

In meeting again with your provider, you will receive a thorough breakdown of the findings and an explanation of the detailed recommendations that resulted from the evaluation. In this meeting, the contents of your report are communicated in a dialogue, which allows for clarification, question and answer, and a therapeutic experience for individuals and for families. As requested, your provider will also communicate and collaborate with other clinicians and professionals to coordinate the best care.
